Windows 10 End of Life: What It Means and How to Prepare

Microsoft has announced that Windows 10 will reach its end of support on October 14, 2025. After this date, the operating system will no longer receive free security updates, bug fixes, or technical support, potentially leaving users vulnerable to security threats.

What Happens After October 14, 2025?

While your Windows 10 PC will continue to function, it will no longer receive critical security updates, making it increasingly susceptible to viruses, malware, and other cyber threats. Additionally, software developers may gradually cease support for Windows 10, leading to compatibility issues with new applications and hardware.

Transitioning to Windows 11

We recommend upgrading to Windows 11 to ensure continued security and access to the latest features. The upgrade is free for eligible devices, but your PC must meet specific hardware requirements, including TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot capabilities.

If your current device doesn’t meet these requirements, you should consider purchasing a new PC.
